Barrie Seymour’s Londis store was a finalist in two categories in the 2009 IAA Awards. Making the most of Halloween – among other events – helped Barrie scoop a nomination in the In-Store Theatre category, while his tidy, well-stocked and easily accessible store helped him make the shortlist in the Shop Layout category.
The clear signage of Barrie’s Londis store in Liversedge, West Yorkshire, allied to clear labelling and understandable presentation made him a shoo-in for a finalist place.
The pictures in this set also demonstrate the effort that he and his team went to to promote Halloween – an event that grows in popularity for retailers year-on-year, as well as the focus that the Seymours put on new product launches such as Wispa Gold – a focus that saw the store sell 6,000 bars in a week.
